It's times like these where you learn to appreciate Tomoyo. :B
Damn bastard, making a move on my rapeable child.

Oh, I got a new tablet, so pages will start looking a little different from now on. Cleaner, too. Pen pressuuuure~ Sorry, there isn't any shading this time. Still getting used to the tablet, but there will be on the next page...maybe. :S I'm also working on a kiriban I owe someone for a looong time, so the next page will have to wait. In case you're wondering, it's a Bamboo tablet. Shame it didn't come with pandas, huh? -ba dum pish- 8D ...What? That was funny. D:

Hiroki: There. Changed it to "bastard". Okay? ;) Though next time, if it happens, don't take offense. If the person has no ill intention, then you shouldn't feel insulted.

i thought it was funny. =D haha, pandas.
Yay for Tomoyo! She's always there when you need her most eh?

Hiroki (Guest), May 6th, 2008, 11:05 pm

Erm... "fag"
Please take care with your words... I know it was a passing comment, but I really don't like the word fag being used...
Fag, n.: A bundle of sticks.

Why is it so offensive?

Back in the Elizabethan era, when they would burn people at stake, they felt homosexuals weren't even people, so they literally had two people tie them up and throw a bunch of them into the fires, just as if they were a bundle of sticks...

The word basically means homosexuals aren't even human... and thats why I take offense, even when it isn't used to represent a homosexual...

Good comic though...

ILU TOMOYO ;o; You always save the day!

kay osse, May 6th, 2008, 11:53 pm

wow. I'm not kidding, that's really interesting. The history of the word fag. I know it sounds like I'm being sarcastic but I'm not. I'll have to actually think when I insult ppl now.

I thought it meant like a type of cigar.

Lol... Did she see tomoyo or does she have a tomoyo radar?

Kannabikki, May 7th, 2008, 1:22 am

Yay! You show him girl!

kittenbasket, May 7th, 2008, 5:37 am

Haha, pandas. Yeah, I was disappointed my Bamboo didn't come with them either. ]: Why is it called Bamboo, anyway? *ponders*

NEXT PAGE SHOULD INCLUDE AN EPIC KICK TO THAT MAN'S BALLS, RAAAWR. D: I have to say, my eyes particularly like panel five's profiles. :] Nice work on panel six as well!

WOO!!!! ^(O_o)^

Tanuki (Guest), May 7th, 2008, 4:37 pm

I have no idea how someone could take offense at the word "fag". Historical meanings are frankly stupid to concentrate on--Languages evolve so rapidly. Nowadays the term has NOTHING to do with its origins, and frankly, is used more as a general insult rather than anything to do with homosexuality. Besides, it's an insult. Whoever said they had to be political correct? *laugh*

By the way, Azumitaiko, how much was the Bamboo tablet? I've been wondering whether I need to upgrade my Graphire3 yet, but the new stuff's been so expensive >.>

Azumitaiko, May 7th, 2008, 4:49 pm

Tanuki: Meh, some people take offense, and I have to respect their wishes. Though I had so many jokes lined up with that word. Oh well.

Oh, it wasn't too expensive. Roughly around a hundred dollars. It's not cheap, but, some tablets cost a lot more.

Childproof Cap, May 7th, 2008, 5:11 pm

Now all Megumi needs is a Tomoyo signal
*sigh* Now if clonking loser guy on the head had been Tomoyo's plan from the get-go she would have been spared the pain of trying to get Bear-suit girl's bear suit.

Really thwacking guys over the head is much more effective then bearsuiting them.

Jude K.A. Boi, May 7th, 2008, 5:15 pm

ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE, MEGUMI!

Is that tomoyo's uber colossal jackass killer attack? Facinating!

TehDante (Guest), May 7th, 2008, 10:22 pm

I just recently heard the story behind the term "fag;" I think it definitely explains a lot... However, as an artist, I believe that asking someone not to use terms like that is censorship, which I am totally against. I just believe artists should be able to use whatever comes to their minds, but that's just my own personal opinion. Then again there isn't a single word in the English language that offends me, even as a homosexual myself. You could call me a dyke until your throat hurts and it won't do a thing to me. So obviously I'm a little different. But hey, everyone's different.

I dunno, just figured if we're gonna post opinions I'd put forth the other side of the debate.

And on a different note... GO TOMOYO!! Though I will say that's gotta freakin' hurt, cos that JUST happened to me today (by accident, I wasn't makin' a move on anyone's girl lol).

mitten, May 8th, 2008, 5:49 pm

OMFG tomoyo ily!
(ps poor guy)

Erin (Guest), June 15th, 2008, 3:09 pm

I like the fact that whether or not the artist feels the same way as TehDante does, she (I'm assuming) is willing to respect that. I know that it is censorship and all that, but still, it shows she cares for her fans, and it frankly makes me respect her a lot more. Keep doing what you do.

Erin
